200 Years Young
Plans are well under way to celebrate the 200 th anniversary of the Independent Chapel
which became Thornbury United Reformed Church in Chapel Street next July. The Chapel was built in 1826 to replace a smaller one only about 50 metres away in Rock Street, in what is now St Mary’s carpark.
